Are you a high school student in the San Francisco Bay Area interested in STEM?

​We are a ninth year FRC community team recruiting girls of all backgrounds. 

We don't require any previous experience in robotics. Whether you aspire to become a software engineer, graphic designer, architect, hardware specialist, or just aren't sure yet, The Missfits will allow you to explore and develop skills to prepare you for your future.

We're actively recruiting new members. Students can join the team year-round!

​Frequently Asked Questions 

How often does the team meet?​

During the season (Jan-April): 4 meetings a week (3 weekday, 1 weekend); dates are based on student availability.
During the offseason (May-Dec): typically 2 meetings a week.

Weekday meetings are typically 5-9pm and weekend meetings 10am-5pm.

Am I required to go to every meeting? Is there an hour requirement? 

​No, we don't have an hour requirement. You don't have to stay the entire meeting, either. We document our progress so even those who don't come to every meeting are still able to keep up.

Where is the workshop located?​

​We are currently located in a garage in the Sunset.
