Artemis (2017 FIRST Steamworks)

Artemis is the Missfits rookie year robot. She was designed to use the board at the top to deliver gears to the pilots, so that it could get all of the rotors turning. Artemis is also a climbing bot, meaning that she can latch onto a rope and hit the light at the top at the end of the match. Check out our results at Blue Alliance.

Artemis competed at the San Francisco Regional (SFR), the Silicon Valley Regional (SVR), and the FIRST Houston World Championship. At SFR, we won the Rookie Inspiration Award sponsored by National Instruments. At SVR, we finished qualification matches at Rank 8 and were alliance captions in the elimination rounds. We made it through to the semifinal round. At SVR, we won the Highest Rookie Seed and Rookie All Star Awards; winning Rookie All Star qualified us for Worlds later that season.

At the World Championship, we played in the Newton Division. We finished the qualification matches with a 6-4-0 record.
