Calliope (2024 CRESCENDO)
The goal of Crescendo is to score orange, foam, donut shaped rings into different scoring zones (such as the "speaker" and the "amp"). For the "endgame" (one of the ending configurations of the robots on the field), robots climb chains to raise themselves up off the ground and gain extra points!
Calliope is a speaker scoring, amp scoring robot, meaning it can score in 2 out of the 3 places to score notes. Calliope can also reliably climb the chains, completing the standard endgame configuration. Calliope played at the San Francisco Regional (SFR) and at the East Bay Regional (EBR). During SFR, we were in the fourth place alliance in the playoffs. At San Francisco Regional, Calliope won the Excellence In Engineering award for our documentation and design. |
