Eris (2019 FIRST DEEP SPACE)

Our robot, Eris, is a cargo and hatch bot and has the ability to do cargo on rocket levels 1 and 2 and rocket level 1 hatch panels. Watch her compete here.

Eris played at the San Francisco Regional (SFR), the Silicon Valley Regional (SVR), and the FIRST Houston World Championship. At SFR, we were on the 7th seed alliance and ended the competition after match 3 of the semifinal round. At SVR, we ended the qualification matches with a 10-3-2 record and were picked for the 2nd seed alliance. We advanced all the way through the final round and won the regional, qualifying us for Worlds later that season.

At the World Championship, we competed in the Galileo Division. We finished qualification matches with a 5-5-0 record and were picked for the 5th seed alliance, which advanced through to the semifinal round.
