Join us on Saturday at the SF County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park for a fun filled day.
We will demo our robot Athena and offer kid's activities. Come meet our team and learn more about FIRST, joining our team or starting a robotics team for ages 5-18.
MIT Club's K12 STEM outreach event will feature 20 of the most interactive technologies of intelligent machines for the youngest generation - the upcoming game-changers of the AI field. The club will open up the halls to under-privileged kids in the Bay Area who ordinarily do not have access to these sorts of events. We will showcase our robot for a hands-on, interactive, and an exploratory demonstration. We want to help make our community a better place by giving opportunities to those who may lack them.
We have two major competitions coming up.

Rising seniors, Natalie Lunbeck and Halie Kim, volunteered this week at the Mission Art Recreation Center to assist the Arduino Intensive and Intro to Robotics classes. Over the past few days, they have taught children from ages 7-13 the basics of circuitry using Arduino Unos, breadboards, LED's, and motors. On Friday, there will be a combative battle between the campers' robots, built entirely from the ground up.
